The rise in the cost of electricity leads to the need to save. The easiest and most painless way to save money is to reduce energy losses. This will require auditing buildings, pieces of equipment to identify losses, i.e. energy consumption without its useful use. The specialist must own metrological instruments, work with documentation, and carry out calculations. The results will be used to develop measures that reduce losses and save money for companies and individual consumers.

The novelty of the profession: solving new problems: determining the sources and level of energy losses of a particular object. (The profession is present in the NKZ, but is not widespread enough in the Republic of Kazakhstan: training in this specialty is conducted only in two colleges in Kazakhstan)

Study of the level of energy consumption and energy losses of the facility using metrological equipment
Study of energy consumption and energy losses of the facility using design documentation and physical calculations
Determination of sources and causes of energy losses
Preparation of an opinion for an object, which describes the level, sources of energy loss, compliance / non-compliance of the facility
