Atlas considered the transport and logistics industry in all its sectors, including land, air, sea and river, as well as alternative transport. The logistics area and the storage and warehousing area were studied in detail.
In the course of Atlas development of this industry 12 in-depth interviews were conducted, questionnaires on forecasting the future were organized with 113 leading industry experts, and a foresight session with 123 specialists in the field of transport and logistics.
As a result, 20 new professions were developed, 9 transformed professions and 16 disappearing ones were identified.

1. DIGITALIZATION AND GAMIFICATION
Traffic management, logistics chains and even vehicles will be fully digitized in the future. Remote coordination will require advanced digital skills. An industry worker will be more an IT professional than a classic driver, logistician or repairman.
Gamified processes, virtual remote management of different modes of transport, working with digital twins and interaction with artificial intelligence will turn the transport and logistics sector into an innovative, knowledge-intensive field that requires a high degree of professional training based on a wide range of competencies.
